About the Location

At Gracewell of Chingford we actively seek ways to keep our residents involved with their local community by organising days out and hosting a variety of interesting activities which bring local people to us.

Our residents are all special, having lived extraordinary lives with much still to offer. Likewise, we understand there are people in the community who may have skills and talents to share with us. We are also keen to support local business, charities, schools and groups.

When making the decision to move into a care home, or if you just want to get to know the local community better, it can help to know what’s taking place locally. We’ve compiled this brief list of organisations that may help you choose the right care home for you and find out what is going on the local area.

At Gracewell of Chingford care home, we have monthly meetings at the memory café in Chigwell, tea dances at Chingford Assembly Hall and weekly Blind Club meetings at the United Free Church in Woodford Green.
