Meet Our Team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one. We are proud to have a great team who delivers highly personalised care in the utmost professional way and with genuine kindness. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at Gracewell of Frome.

Emma Murphy, Home Manager

I qualified as a nurse 21 years ago. My postgraduate experience has been gained in a wide variety of settings including accident and emergency to community care. Over the last 15 years I have worked within the elderly care setting in management and regional management roles. I have a degree in business studies and Nursing. I live in Somerset with my family and in my spare time support the ambulance service as a community first responder. I am privileged to work with my team at Gracewell of Frome and proud to be manager.

Liliana Sobreira, Deputy Manager

Liliana

I graduated in nursing in 2011 and joined Gracewell in 2013. Within the company, I have worked in several job roles and communities, gaining experience from different environments. I am currently the Deputy Manager in Gracewell of Frome, being responsible for the care and clinical management of the home. It is an enormous pleasure to be part of the team, working every day towards the wellbeing of our residents and relatives.

Chris Dixon, Activities Co-ordinator

I have worked with Gracewell of Frome since 2014. I love my job as I get to know the residents personally and see them enjoy themselves which is hugely rewarding. We organise a variety of activities, entertainment and trips out which allow the residents to pick and choose what they wish to be involved in. This encourages person centred choices and enables residents to be involved in activities that truly interest them. Seeing the residents enjoy themselves is the best feeling and making this happen is what my job is all about.

Becki Macey, Activities Co-ordinator

I joined Gracewell of Frome in 2013 when the home first opened coming previously from a background in the care profession. I work closely with my colleague, Chris, to create a full and varied mix of events, outings and activities for our residents to enjoy. With such talented residents within our home it is wonderful to be able to showcase their many talents, including art classes, baking, quizzes, photography club and many more. The most enjoyable part of my role is to see the residents smile, laugh and get involved and take advantage of everything that is on offer to enhance their lives.

Debbie Goodsell, Home Admissions Adviser

Working for Gracewell of Frome is not just a job for me. Being able to help residents transition from home or hospital into a care home environment and into the next phase of their life is a huge responsibility and extremely rewarding. The care that we offer is complex and it is important to make the right choices for the right reasons, which is sometimes an emotional journey. I am extremely proud to work for the company in our amazing home which has a lively, homely feel. My role is to market and advertise the home with empathy and understanding of people’s needs and requirements. The team that I work with make this easy to achieve as we offer a wonderful product, fine dining, extensive entertainment, outings, activities and caring training professional staff. This is all achieved by respectful understanding of the individual resident’s needs. Nothing is too much trouble as it is always the little things that make the biggest impact.
