Simona Orza, Home Manager

Simona Orza

Simona is a very experienced Registered General Nurse having qualified in 2007. Simona has worked clinically in Acute Cardiac Care, Community Healthcare and Residential Care. She joined Horley Park in May 2015 and is committed to ensuring high standards are achieved and maintained throughout the Home from Housekeeping to Resident Care. Simona values involvement from everyone connected with Horley Park and enjoys talking with residents and families at every opportunity.

Carol Taylor, Deputy Manager

Carol Taylor

Carol joined Gracewell of Horley Park as Deputy Manager in April 2016 and quickly integrated with the whole team. Carol qualified as an Adult and Sick Children’s Nurse, she also worked as a Practice Nurse and a Healthcare Trainer, in 1996, she moved into Care Home Management and managed Care Homes of varying sizes before coming to Horley Park.

Helen Dawes, Activities Co-ordinator

Helen Dawes

Helen joined in 2014 as care assistant, which had been her job for role for over four years, before she took on a new challenge of becoming the home activities co-ordinator. Her tasks include organising events – from fetes to parties, as well as day-to-day activities for the residents. She has recently been NAPA-trained and became the Oomph! fitness instructor. She aims to make each resident smile or laugh at least once a day and to improve their physical and mental wellbeing by having fun.

Daniela Oprea, Clinical Nurse Manager

Dana is Registered Nurse and she has worked in different care setting since 2010. She joined Gracewell in August 2015 and her role at Horley Park is to oversee the work of the nursing team, making sure that the residents are safe and happy at Gracewell.

Julie Groves, Administrator

Julie Groves

Julie started at Gracewell in February 2014 when Horley Park was opened, which makes her the longest standing team member of Horley Park. Previous to working for Gracewell, she has over twenty years’ experience in accounts and payroll. In her role as Administrator she’s committed to providing excellent service to the customers.

Mirela Zidaru, Chef

Mirela Zidaru

Mirela, Sous Chef at Horley Park, joined the team in July 2015. She has previous experience of working for 2 years as a chef in a care home in Dorking. Mirela has the qualification in Health and Social Care and Hospitality, Catering and Food Production, as well as level 2 in Professional Cookery.

Stephen Dickinson, Facilities Manager

Stephen Dickinson

Steve is a valued team member who looks after the home and ensures that it is safe, well maintained, and pleasant to live in. He joined Gracewell of Horley Park in 2015, having previous experience in facilities management.

Tracy Seymour, Head Housekeeper

Tracy Seymour

Tracy joined Gracewell in May 2014 as Head Housekeeper. She leads a dedicated housekeeping team who make sure that the highest standards of cleanliness are met at all times. She has vast experience in a similar position from the hotel industry.

Yvette Cheeseman, Team Leader

Yvette Cheesman

Yvette joined Gracewell over two years ago, when Gracewell of Horley Park opened, having had 5 years’ experience in care delivery. She started as a Health Care Assistant but worked up to her current role and Team Leader. She has completed HSC NVQ level 2 and is currently working towards NVQ level 3.

Constantine Zidaru, Team Leader

Constantine Zidaru

Constantine joined Gracewell of Horley Park in July 2015 as a Team Leader. He is also an Ergo coach for Manual Moving and Handling, providing our staff with excellent trainings. HE has almost 6 year of experience in care setting and has NVQ level 2 and 3 in health and social care. Currently studying for ILM Management level 3.
