Emma Weller, Home Administrator

Emma I started working at Gracewell in Jan 2014 and I immediately felt at home here, I love working in the office and meeting and greeting all the many visitors and of course all our residents, everyone has a story to tell and the part of the job I love most is getting to know them and their extended families, I pride myself on knowing that I have really helped at what can be a very difficult time in people lives . I am really passionate about making this a great home for our residents to live in and I am proud to be part of the fantastic, hardworking, fun gang that make up the team here at Gracewell of Hove.

Olivia Marshall, Activities & Well-being

Olivia

Hello, My name's Olivia and I've been working with Gracewell for almost 5 years now- my most recent position has been my favourite, managing activities and enhancing the residents wellbeing with the fundamental tools of art, music, exercise & of course FUN. My small team is a special one as my assistant is also my sister, Hannah who works part-time with her lovely pup Mr. Bean who the residents adore(& feed him way too many biscuits)! Our basis for running a successful department relies on our commitment to creating person centred activity calendars to match all of our residents interests, needs and capability- flexibility and time for individuals. In our lovely home we have many communal rooms we like to make the use of for many different activities so our residents & guests feel this is their home, and welcome to use all areas & out door spaces.

Our home isn't just a home, it's a community where everyone knows everyone and we treat one another like family. Families become friends with one another and in general I think it's a very special home, one people always comment on the homely, friendly vibe.
