About Highclere House

Highclere House is a brand new care home, enjoying an elevated position in a peaceful and highly desirable residential area in Weymouth, a beautiful coastal town in the sunny county of Dorset. We have been warmly welcoming residents into our luxurious and homely care environment since May 2013.

Our Care Home Personality

At the heart of Highclere House is the ‘village’ area, which is a bright and airy setting, home to a number of communal spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The village includes a well-stocked library, with a computer corner for residents to Skype, email and surf the Internet. The café serves gourmet sandwiches, delicious cakes, indulgent coffees and healthy fruit smoothies at any time of day.

Residents can also spend quality time with their loved ones in the state-of-the-art treatment spa which offers relaxing hand massages, pedicures and hair care.

Superior quality bedrooms, with shower en suites, are generous with space and stunningly appointed – far above industry standard in size and design.

From the upper floors, residents can relax with sea views and the Weymouth landscape which extends into the distance. A number of the stylish lounges feature large panoramic windows and secure balconies.

Thanks to a warm relationship with the adjacent primary school, residents enjoy access to the children’s community garden – a truly special environment to spend time in. This is in addition to Highclere’s own sensory gardens, which are wheelchair friendly and designed for year-round enjoyment.
