Residential Care and Assisted Living

You know what it’s like when, one day, you suddenly realise that mum or dad isn’t coping any more. To be honest, mum or dad probably realise it, too. But – in the fine old tradition of British upper lip – no-one’s willing to admit it. We’re here to help.

Moving into a care home doesn’t mean you’re “past it”. It simply means you’ve recognised that the time has come when a little help with everyday life wouldn’t go amiss.

At Gracewell Healthcare, we offer help and support with activities of daily living that range from assistance with personal hygiene to a bit of support at meal times, getting dressed, taking a bath or going to the bathroom.

It’s a fact of life that, as we get older, we need help in all sorts of ways. This is sometimes called Personal Care or Residential Care. Others call it Assisted Living. At Gracewell, we call it doing our job.
