Activities

A new day, every day, at Gracewell

Each home has an extensive calendar of events tailored to residents' interests – along with seasonal surprises, informal gatherings and accompanied trips in the Gracewell minibus.

" My mother enjoys everything, the activities and entertainment, but the staff in particular are what makes it."

Our homes welcome the wider community and regularly host activities for everyone to participate. These bring together residents, team members and special visitors to create occasions that stimulate creativity, conversation and lasting memories.

Mind, body and soul - activities at Gracewell

Our residents enjoy activities for all ranges of mobility and across a vast spectrum of interest. From Tai Chi to Bridge to indoor curling, and everywhere in between, our focus is on delivering an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere. All while helping our residents to learn new skills and talents.

"I've always loved my garden. It gives me so much pleasure to be busy outside, whatever the weather! Our gardeners group has tidies and replanted the raised beds with peas and carrots, then once they are gone we have some lettuces, spring onions and radishes."

Our activities show our care homes at their finest - together, living life to the fullest. It's why we open our doors to visitors to see what life at Gracewell is really like, to help break down barriers and show the rich experiences on offer.
