Gracewell of Camberley Hosts Christmas Fair
Gracewell of Camberley, on Fernhill Road, celebrated the festive season with a Christmas fair on Saturday (8 December).
The care home, which provides high-quality residential, dementia and nursing care, invited residents, their friends and families, along with those from the local community who attend their mother and toddler group, to enjoy the festivities.
The fair featured local craft sellers, live music and food, as well as Santa’s grotto and children’s activities to keep even the youngest guests entertained.
Resident Geraldine (pictured) was delighted to be joined by her family for the day. Her great-grandchildren enjoyed colouring in Christmas photos, meeting Santa Claus and seeing Gracewell’s staff dressed up as elves, angels and Christmas puddings.
Other residents enjoyed getting some of their Christmas shopping done without having to leave their home, followed by delicious mince pies and mulled wine.
Jeorgia Jones, Home Admissions Advisor at Gracewell of Camberley, said:
“It was lovely to see staff, residents, families and the local community come together for what was a truly special day.
“Christmas is usually such a busy time, so it was nice to have everyone in one place for an afternoon of fun as they got into the festive spirit.
“We look forward to celebrating the season with even more festive events lined up here at Gracewell of Camberley.”
