Gracewell of Maids Moreton Celebrates “Outstanding” Rating in Style
Residents and team members from Gracewell of Maids Moreton welcomed guests to a giant celebratory party after the care home was rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Guests were treated to delicious food including mini canape burgers and fish and chips, which were washed down by strawberry mojito mocktails, and followed by blackberry and Werther’s Original candyfloss for dessert. Sweet treats also featured mini donuts, chocolate covered strawberries, and fruit and ice cream.
There was also the opportunity to strike poses at a photo booth, and enjoy the sounds of a live jazz band.
Gracewell of Maids Moreton’s “Outstanding” rating was based on the safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care that it provides to residents. These criteria were judged by the CQC, the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.
The rating is a positive reflection of the dedicated services provided by the home, including residential, nursing and dementia care.
Jody Sedgwick, Home Admissions Adviser at Gracewell of Maids Moreton, said:
“Our party was a great way to celebrate the ‘Outstanding’ rating that we are hugely proud to have received from the Care Quality Commission.
“Not only were guests able to gain an insight into the quality, compassionate care provided by our team members, but they were able to enjoy some great food and superb live entertainment too.
“I would like to pay tribute to our entire team for the part they have played in our success, as we look forward to welcoming many more residents to our special home over the coming years.”
