The team at Gracewell of High Wycombe are hosting a week of special dementia-friendly cinema screenings from Monday 21st May to Sunday 27th May, to celebrate dementia action week. The fun screenings are open to those living with dementia, their carers and family members.
The screenings aim to make the cinema experience more accessible to people living with dementia, with films being shown in a fun and welcoming environment, lights left on low and no adverts. Everyone is very welcome to come along and join the home to enjoy the free cinematic treat.
During the screenings cinema-goers can also enjoy some delicious refreshments in the form of popcorn, ice-cream, and tea and coffee, to make sure every guest enjoys the full cinema experience.
