Residents, the team and friends of Gracewell of Maids Moreton on Church Street presented Parkinson's UK with a cheque for £1,199 this month, after raising money for the charity through its summer fete.

Lily Coombs, a fundraiser from Parkinson’s UK attended the event at the home and was presented with the money to take back to the charity. The presentation was an enjoyable day for the residents, the team and members of the local community who attended the fete. The money was proudly presented by Tanta Stefanescu, Home Manager at Gracewell of Maids Morton, alongside some of the residents.

The impressive donation was raised at the home's summer fete, which was complete with a BBQ, music, sun and games. The residents’ friends and family were invited along to have a fun day with their loved ones and to raise money for a wonderful cause.

Gracewell of Maids Moreton is committed to raising money for charities such as Parkinson’s UK, as part of its ethos for giving back to the local community. The home and Gracewell Healthcare support residents living with Parkinson's, as well as other similar conditions, and see the important work delivered by the charity.
