Gracewell of Salisbury Hosts 1950s Afternoon For World Alzheimer’s Day
Gracewell of Salisbury opened their door to friends, family and members of the local community for their 1950s themed afternoon, as part of World Alzheimer’s Day on Friday 21st September.
Guests were invited to take a trip down memory lane and join the residents for lots of fun and laughter, along with live entertainment, and sing-alongs to old hit songs.
Guests were treated to a delicious 1950s themed afternoon tea, which was served by the Gracewell of Salisbury team.
The team really went the extra mile for the residents, as they turned up in their finest 1950’s dress.
Sandra Smith, Home Admissions Advisor at Gracewell of Salisbury, said:
“The event was such a wonderful experience for all residents as well as guests. World Alzheimer’s Day is a great way to raise awareness of a condition that affects so many people and we hope that more people were able to learn something new this year.”
