What type of food is served at the care home?

We prepare all meals in-house using the freshest ingredients. The menus are varied and designed to be nutritionally balanced. In fact, we can even provide you with a nutritional breakdown of each dish, so that you know exactly how much protein, fat, fibre, calories and so on is contained in the meals we serve. Our kitchens provide three meals a day – either in the congenial setting of our restaurant-style dining room or in the comfort of a resident’s own suite. For residents living with dysphagia – a condition which makes it hard to swallow – we prepare meals, pureed foods and smoothies that are not only easier to swallow, but also look appealing to eat. In addition, snacks and drinks are available 24 hours a day. For dementia residents we have special hydration and snack stations, designed to maintain healthy levels of fluid intake and nutrition.
