Raina Jordan, General Manager
I am delighted to be the General Manager for Gracewell of Ascot in supporting our residents in this beautiful home. I've been with the company for 11 years and am passionate about providing an exceptional level of care in beautiful surroundings. I've worked in a number of roles during my time with the company and truly understand the challenges facing seniors and families when considering care options so I and the team at Ascot are here to guide and give reassurance throughout the process of care home selection. I believe that our residents should have the best care, the best food and take part in activities that enhance their daily lives. I am so proud to be part of this family.
Patricia Murphy, Deputy Manager
I am pleased to be part of the team at Gracewell of Ascot. I am a Registered Nurse my background is that I worked in the NHS in the acute sector for 15 years before moving to the care home sector in 2011. As the Deputy Manager of Gracewell of Ascot I am proud to be able to support the General Manager in leading a team of dedicated staff. It is my mission to ensure that all of our residents present and future are cared for to the highest standard to enhance their daily lives.
Tracy Campbell, Community Relationship Manager
My role is to help families and residents from their very first enquiry through to moving in to our home. It can sometimes be a very difficult and emotional time with a huge transition for everyone involved. It gives me real pleasure to take people on a tour of our home and then see them settle in, make new friends and join in with activities that they were no longer able to do before coming to Gracewell. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of family and friends when they come to visit their loved ones, knowing that they made the right decision to come to Gracewell. It's such a rewarding job!
Caroline Whyman, Activities Co-ordinator
Prior to joining Gracewell of Ascot I spent a number of years organising parties, charity evenings and corporate hospitality for sponsors and guests around the globe in Formula One. More recently, I worked at Ascot Race Course where I ran the Royal Ascot Racing Club, the private Members Club. My love of creating interesting and fun activities in a warm and welcoming environment, fits perfectly with my role here at Gracewell of Ascot as the Activities Organiser. Life is for living, not existing whatever your age and that is firmly the ethos here at Gracewell. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.
Merryl Eagles, Head Housekeeper
I have worked for the company for 7 years as a Head Housekeeper, I enjoy all aspects of my role and take great pride in my work. I love making the residents home look the absolute best it can. I’m thrilled to be part of our new community and look forward to meeting everyone that makes Gracewell of Ascot their home.
Matt Dodds, Head Chef
On completion of my apprenticeship at Sunningdale Golf Club, I was lucky enough to cook for one of the royal family members on their golf day. From there I moved into the restaurant/Gastro pub trade first as a senior sous chef then as a head chef by the time I was 21. I really enjoy providing my fine dining knowledge with nutritionally balanced meals to our residents. I really enjoy motivating my team to provide the highest standard of service to our residents at Gracewell.
Nicola Lyon, Administrator
I joined the team this year as Home Administrator and am responsible for the administrative and financial duties for the home. I ensure that you are greeted with a smile and looked after by the reception team here at Ascot. Prior to joining the Gracewell team I worked within the care environment as an administrator for 13 years.
