If my loved one has been vaccinated before they move in, is the move in process any different?
For now, the move-in process won’t change, as people can remain carriers of infection even following the vaccine. All our infection protection measures remain in place until we are confident that the level of immunity in the population is sufficiently high. New residents will have a maximum of 14 days isolation if a negative test is received. Don’t forget, we can support with the move-in process by using the Transitional Support protocol and will be able to use testing as a safety measure to support people from isolation on receipt of a second negative test within 14 days.
We will also support those who have not yet received a vaccine to get this as soon as possible.
