Gracewell of Fareham
Meet our team
Jacqui Hampton, General Manager
Having recently joined the team at Gracewell of Fareham I am looking forward to the challenge and all the opportunity that this beautiful home has to offer. I have a wealth of experience to share from previous Home Manager roles and regional roles. The team here are friendly and passionate about the standard of care they deliver and already I feel right at Home. I looking forward to meeting all our families, everyone can take advantage of my open door policy. Together we can ensure that lives here are lived to the fullest.
Panagiota Rozakea, Deputy Manager
I left Greece in 2014 for better job opportunities in England. I joined Gracewell in 2014 as a staff nurse. In 2017 I was promoted to Clinical Lead and by the end of that year I stepped up to the Deputy Manager’s role. I really enjoy my job. It’s a pleasure to work at Gracewell of Fareham within a team who are passionate about enriching the lives of our residents with a person centred approach. Our residents are a big part of our lives and it’s our responsibility to ensure they feel part of our family.
Jessica Wooldridge, Home Admissions Advisor
I feel honoured to work with such a lovely team here at Gracewell of Fareham, they make everyday an enjoyable day and this reflects on the lives of our residents so much. My job is to let others see what a beautiful home we have and to help that transition to join us as smooth as possible. I welcome you to come along and see all that we can offer you.
Vanda Smith, Team Leader
With 38 years in the caring profession, I have a wealth of knowledge. My role is to support the Home Manager and the staff on the residential floor to ensure we continually deliver the highest level of care and kindness to our residents at all times. I am so very proud to be part of a dedicated team who always put our residents first.
Zoe Kelly, Activities Co-ordinator
I love my job because I enjoy being a team leader, organising events and activities. I enjoy meeting the needs of residents to their person centred activity. To make a meaningful moment and a difference to their day. To achieve a moment that means something special to them and leaves a lasting memory and feeling for days to come.
Simon Willson, Head Chef
I have been a chef for 32 years with my background in hotels and fine dining. I have spent many years as a Head Chef and in the late 90's was fortunate enough to work with the late Gary Rhodes. In my spare time I am a keen cyclist with rides up to 100 miles. As well as the New Forest, one of my favourite places to ride is the French Pyrenees. Gracewell is my first foray into the care sector and so far has proved to be both enjoyable and rewarding. I am looking forward to producing home cooked nutritional meals for our residents to enjoy.
Gareth Palmer, Maintenance Manager
I have worked in the building and maintenance trade for most of my working life. I started here at Gracewell, Fareham in August 2016 and after two and a half years I still really enjoy working in a care environment and helping to make life as comfortable as possible for our residents. This is their home after all.
Danielle Arreghini, Head Housekeeper
I have been working at Gracewell of Fareham for 5 years and in May of 2019 I was promoted to Head Housekeeper. I am also the infection prevention champion within the home. I take pride in being a part of Gracewell and ensuring our residents home is a clean and happy environment for everyone. I enjoy working with an amazing team and building relationships with our residents and their family members.
Kelly Anstee, Administrator
I joined Gracewell of Fareham in 2016 as a Receptionist after leaving my previous role as a Pub Landlady. I have found my customer service skills serve me very well in this environment. I very quickly settled in and started stepping up to assist the Administrator. In 2017 I took on the role of Administrator and have never looked back. I love the fact my role has involvement in all aspects of the running of the Home, liaising with Residents, Family Members and Team Members on a daily basis. I completed an NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin during my first year which helped me learn new skills to develop in my role. I love the fact we are all one team here.
Beata Bojanowska, Receptionist
I have been working at Gracewell of Fareham since it first opened in 2012 and been part of the Gracewell team from the very start. I am therefore very close with not only the other members of staff but also all of our residents. I enjoy welcoming new residents and their families, making their visits as pleasant as possible, as well as making Gracewell feel like home to everyone who lives here. Before I moved to England, I lived in Poland, The Netherlands and France. When living in Poland I studied law and sociology and then ultimately got a degree in sociology.
Roxy Broughton, Receptionist
My name is Roxy and I have been at Gracewell of Fareham for almost 3 years. I enjoy seeing our residents when they come down for coffee and cake and listening to their life stories. It is always great to see the resident's family and friends when they come in to visit their loved ones and getting to know them as well.
Maisie, Resident Ambassador
Ken and I have been married 73 years and when the time came for us to move somewhere else we relied on our daughter to find the right home. This was the best one she found for us and we are thrilled with her choice. We have lived here for 2 years now. I was looking for good company and have made lots of friends here, the staff are lovely, so polite and kind. Ken and I really enjoy the activities and we join in with absolutely everything. I just love the singers and musicians we have here, such fun.
