I have joined Gracewell having worked in the NHS and Private care sector for 16 years, supporting adults with mental health and learning disability diagnosis. I was a Regional Manager for the South West for the Priory Group, before joining a family run company as Head of Residential Care, overseeing all of their homes across the UK.

I am a registered Nurse, with experience in a variety of settings. For the past six years, I have been working in Care Quality roles in the Care Home sector.

I have worked with Gracewell of Frome since 2014. I love my job as I get to know the residents personally and see them enjoy themselves which is hugely rewarding. We organise a variety of activities, entertainment and trips out which allow the residents to pick and choose what they wish to be involved in. This encourages person centred choices and enables residents to be involved in activities that truly interest them. Seeing the residents enjoy themselves is the best feeling and making this happen is what my job is all about.

I joined Gracewell of Frome in 2013 when the home first opened coming previously from a background in the care profession. I work closely with my colleague, Chris, to create a full and varied mix of events, outings and activities for our residents to enjoy. With such talented residents within our home it is wonderful to be able to showcase their many talents, including art classes, baking, quizzes, photography club and many more. The most enjoyable part of my role is to see the residents smile, laugh and get involved and take advantage of everything that is on offer to enhance their lives.

Sandor Szucs, Head Chef

I qualified as a Chef in 1995 in Hungary. I have become interested in technical cooking using unusual cooking methods and have enjoyed great success internationally participating in numerous culinary championships including the Culinary World Cup where I achieved an individual gold medal in 2006 and as part of the Hungarian National Team we achieved a double silver medal in 2010, I have also taken part of the Culinary Olympics in 2008 where I have won individual silver award. Also I have obtained a Master Chef title in Hungary . I have been in the South West for almost 10 years and have worked in a variety of different establishments including high turnover pubs, gastro pubs, and AA Rosette hotels working as a Sous and Head Chef. I am excited to bring my skills and knowledge gained from my previous experiences to enrich the lives and palets of the residents at Gracewell of Frome.

Lisa Sugrue, Head Housekeeper

Lisa Sugrue, Head Housekeeper

I have worked for Gracewell of Frome since it opened. As the Head Housekeeper, it is my responsibility to make sure the home meets my very high standards of cleanliness. I have a background in organising housekeeping/cleaning for 5 star hotels and was also a Carer, for 7 years.

I am new to Gracewell of Frome, having joined the company in May 2020, I am enjoying keeping the residents and staff safe and providing maintenance to keep the home the best it can be. I have come from a background of painting and decorating and have many years experience in general maintenance.

Eve Moseley, Administrator

I've been with Gracewell for 6 years, having graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2012 with an honours degree in Human Biosciences. I worked with local care providers in Frome before joining Gracewell as a Senior Carer. My role is now Administrator to Gracewell of Frome, and my job is to provide HR services to the company, together with payroll and resident billing.
