Meet Our Team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one.

At Gracewell of Bath, we are recruiting an experienced team of dedicated professionals, all of whom will undergo our own in-depth training programme. Just as in every other Gracewell home, the whole team works to make sure that our residents' needs are constantly being identified and that truly personalised care is provided.

As a Bathonian myself I know how important a home of this unrivalled calibre is for the area and look forward to showcasing it to visitors and welcoming residents to their new home.

I have had 22 years of experience managing care homes and even more as a carer working mostly with older people.  I am well qualified and have an excellent team to support me in delivering a quality service to our residents and enabling them to live truly meaningful lives.

Please come and visit us to share coffee and cake in our bistro and have a look around our home - get ready to be wowed!

I have a 15 year background of care and nursing in the City of Bath which is my hometown and birthplace. I am a proud Bathonian. I attended the university West of England Where I obtained a DIP HE in adult nursing. Since then I have spent most of my working career in accident and emergency, general nursing and also as a night sister in the city's busiest hospital.

I am incredibly passionate about my privileged position to ensure that we provide an amazing home for residents to live in at Gracewell of Bath.  I look forward to meeting you.

I am incredibly proud to work for Gracewell offering a brand new purpose built home to the community of Bath and the surrounding area. It is a privilege to be able to offer families the support and care when moving their loved ones in to the next phase of their lives, I passionately believe that Gracewell offers a bespoke solution to the individual needs of each of its residents, taking in to consideration the smallest of details. With fine dining, planned activities, a salon and cinema on site, I look forward to showing you around Gracewell of Bath.

Dylan Davey, Head Chef

I was born and raised in Bath and have been a qualified chef for over 20 years. I started my career in a traditional English Pub and really loved working in the kitchen so went on to get formal qualifications at the City of Bath College. During this time I have worked in several different types of establishments including likes of The Moon and Sixpence – where I did my apprenticeship. I went on to be Head Chef of The Wheatsheaf in Combe Hay, Le Beaujolais and Thermae Bath Spa (working with Michelin star chef Martin Blunos as my executive chef). I have also spent time working at Michelin Star level for Michael Caines at Baths renowned Bath Priory. I made the move into the healthcare sector just over 2 years ago and there has been no looking back since. I love creating delicious food and have a soul felt passion for what I do. I'm very proud to be Head Chef here at Gracewell of Bath, in the town that I have grown up in and learned my trade and look forward to delivering lots of fantastic food with my team for the lucky people living here.

I come to Gracewell of Bath, having spent 9 years previously in a similar role within the Care Sector. Prior to that, I lived in Malta for 5 years where I worked for Blevins Franks Trustees and managed a huge portfolio of off shore trusts. I have a certification in Trust Law and Administration which is recognised globally. My pride and joy are my family; my beautiful wife, and my two equally beautiful daughters!

Since joining the business, I truly feel like I have gained another family. This was particularly evident during the commissioning of Gracewell of Bath and further reinforced  by the recent Heart & Soul Awards.

Gracewell Healthcare are one of the very few care providers that truly understand the link between staff appreciation, investing in people, and great care delivery – it’s a privilege to part of that process.

I’ve worked for Gracewell Healthcare since 2014 where I was previously the Maintenance manager at Gracewell of Frome. I very much enjoy being part of the team and feel privileged to be the Maintenance Manager here in my home city of Bath. The opportunity to work with a great team in bath was too good to turn down. As maintenance manager I seek to provide top rate security, safety and comfort for all our residents.
