Meet Our Team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one. Girlie Braga, the Home Manager, leads her team with kindness, integrity, trust, empathy and respect.

We are proud to have a great team who deliver highly personalised care with the utmost professionalism and with a genuine desire to enhance people's lives.

In addition to the care team, Girlie works closely with her administrator, activity and events planner and chef to ensure that our residents' needs are constantly being identified and truly personalised care is provided.

Girlie BragaI'm a registered nurse and have been with Gracewell since 2014. I'm focused on ensuring all our residents receive the highest quality nursing care and continually think of new ways for all our registered nurses and care team to learn new skills and enhance residents day to day life. I'm originally from the Philippines and although I enjoy living in the UK, I sometimes miss the hot weather! Welcome to Gracewell of Camberley.

I have been working at Gracewell of Camberley since 2013. I started as a care assistant and got to know all of our residents extremely well, and I then moved into activities and enjoyed spending time with residents doing things that they love and are passionate about. I love being able to bring Gracewell to more families.

Lia ThompsonI joined Gracewell in 2018 as an activities assistant, I quickly came to love being able to brighten peoples day through finding and providing meaningful activities. I have since started my new role as the Activities Coordinator where I now organise and manage all the weekly and special monthly events for our residents and truly enjoy my job at Gracewell Healthcare. Our home looks after over 80 residents, all of whom are special and enjoy a wide range of interests and activities.

Julie SpaldingHaving joined the team last year as home administrator I am responsible for the administrative and financial duties for the home. I ensure that you are greeted with a smile and looked after from the reception team. I love the interaction with the residents and helping the team make Gracewell a happy home.

Visiting our homes: latest information

Due to the latest national restrictions, we continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis, following public health advice. We’ve a detailed set of criteria to inform when an individual home can be reopened safely to limited visiting either by families or existing residents. The majority of our homes are open for new residents.

How we’re keeping our care homes safe

At Gracewell Healthcare, the health and happiness of our residents is of the utmost importance. It’s why over 95% of our care homes are rated as Good or Outstanding by the CQC. That’s why we’ve put in place a range of rigorous measures to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection within our homes, and to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents and the team around them.
