Enjoy a Rewarding Social Life

We can keep you as busy, or relaxed, as you wish at Gracewell of Frome. Our activities co-ordinator creates an enjoyable and varied daily programme of events and activities for residents, in which their visiting family and friends can participate. Or if you wish we can help you enjoy your own interests in dedicated one-to-one time.

Examples of some of our activities include weekly social mornings for residents and families, singing groups, storytelling, visits from the PAT Dog, films in our cinema, guest speakers, exercise classes and trips out to places of interest.

We also have excellent links with a number of local associations and groups, who kindly support Gracewell of Frome.

We hold church services on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.

Mondays: Coffee morning
Tuesdays: Tuesday Teapot Club and ‘Pampering Morning’
Wednesdays: Tai Chi and Musical Afternoon
Thursdays: Arts and Crafts
Fridays: Quizzes and games
Weekends: Garden walks
(These are subject to change, so please call to learn about what is happening each day.)

All our events are closed to visitors at this time. For further information please contact the home.

Access to our homes: latest information

We continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis, following public health advice. We've a detailed set of criteria to inform when an individual home can be reopened safely to limited visiting either by families of existing residents or by potential new residents who may want to view one of our homes. The majority of our homes are open for admissions.

As part of our approach to reopening for visitors, we'll be operating in a very different way. To minimise the risk of infection we've produced a safety guide. We'll continue to follow public health advice to determine when visits will return to normal and will continue to do our best to support residents to keep in touch with loved ones.
