Alina-Simona Varga Pali, General Manager

Simona Orza

Simona is a very experienced Registered General Nurse having qualified in 2007. Simona has worked clinically in Acute Cardiac Care, Community Healthcare and Residential Care. She joined Horley Park in May 2015 and is committed to ensuring high standards are achieved and maintained throughout the Home from Housekeeping to Resident Care. Simona values involvement from everyone connected with Horley Park and enjoys talking with residents and families at every opportunity.

Cristina Durmea, Deputy Manager

Horley Park - Cristina Drumea

Cristina is a registered general nurse with experience in Acute Cardiac Care and Learning Disabilities. She joined Horley Park in October 2016 and is a Diabetes and Falls Champion.
 
Cristina has proven clinical skills and advance knowledge which has led her into the recent development of Deputy Manager role.  Cristina prides herself on being resident focused and ensures that all individuals we support are empowered to make choices and participate fully in the running of their home. She enjoys spending time bonding with residents and their families ensuring their safety, wellbeing and happiness are met.  

Julie Groves, Administrator

Julie Groves

Julie started at Gracewell in February 2014 when Horley Park was opened, which makes her the longest standing team member of Horley Park. Previous to working for Gracewell, she has over twenty years’ experience in accounts and payroll. In her role as Administrator she’s committed to providing excellent service to the customers.

Damian Sidorowicz, Head Chef

Damian

Damian has worked in catering industry for almost ten years. He has previous experience of working in fine dine restaurants along executive and celebrity chefs. For over three years he has been a Head Chef in care home industry. Damian has completed a lot of trainings and competitions to improve his skills, he holds qualifications in: Hotel and Catering Management, Food and Beverage, Hospitality Management, HABC Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering and QCF Certificate in Sport Nutrition. Other courses include Dysphagia Food, Baking, Academy and Ethnic Food.

Awards: NACC Winner 2017 and shortlisted for Cost Sector 2018 and NACC 2018

Michael Ursescu, Maintenance Manager

Horley Park - Michael Ursescu

Mike is a valued team member who looks after the home and ensures that it is safe, well maintained, and pleasant to live in. He joined Gracewell of Horley Park on January 2017, having previous experience in facilities management and in the army as a logistic officer.

Tracy Seymour, Head Housekeeper

Tracy Seymour

Tracy joined Gracewell in May 2014 as Head Housekeeper. She leads a dedicated housekeeping team who make sure that the highest standards of cleanliness are met at all times. She has vast experience in a similar position from the hotel industry.

Gillian Grove, Senior Care Assistant

Gillian joined 2 years ago having had 5 years experience in care and as a team leader.  She is an Ergo coach for Manual Moving and Handling and is an experienced Dignity Champion.  Gillian is extremely creative and enjoys introducing new activities to help engage our residents

Constantine Zidaru, Team Leader

Constantine Zidaru

Constantine joined Gracewell of Horley Park in July 2015 as a Team Leader. He is also an Ergo coach for Manual Moving and Handling, providing our staff with excellent trainings. HE has almost 6 year of experience in care setting and has NVQ level 2 and 3 in health and social care. Currently studying for ILM Management level 3.
