Meet Our Team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one.

At Gracewell of Sutton, we are recruiting an experienced team of dedicated professionals, all of whom will undergo our own in-depth training programme. Just as in every other Gracewell home, the whole team works to make sure that our residents' needs are constantly being identified and that truly personalised care is provided.

Jogie Dellota, General Manager

Horley Park - Jogie Dellota

I am a registered nurse with ten years of experience of providing care in a variety of health care setting such as medical, neuro-rehabilitation, elderly, dementia, autism, and learning disability. She is committed to improve quality of care through evaluation of practice and lifelong learning as she believes that an outstanding level of care is what every resident deserves.

Sue Martin, Home Admissions Advisor

Sutton - Sue MartinI transferred in June 2019 to Gracewell of Sutton as their Home Admissions Advisor having previously been with Sunrise Senior Living for over 5 years.  I work with families and potential residents in helping them to find the right care solution, whether that be residential, dementia care or nursing.

It is a pure joy for me to see the positive difference moving into Gracewell can make to someone’s life and this in turn makes my job so rewarding.  I look forward to speaking to you very soon.

Emese Budai, Activities Coordinator

Emese BudaiI joined Gracewell of Sutton in June 2019 as the Activities Coordinator and no two days are ever the same which I love. I take great pleasure in organising events, running one of our many group activities or carrying out 1-1 sessions. Each day is a new chance to learn and grow. If I had to describe a day in Gracewell of Sutton I would use words like colourful, compassionate, empathetic, refreshing and always rewarding. It's a great privilege to work in a place where every day I have the chance to learn from our amazing residents who have had fascinating careers, life experiences and stories to tell.

I joined Gracewell in July 2016. I have worked within HR for the past 10 years with companies such as Skype, BNYM, Hudson Recruitment & Croydon College. This is a very new and  exciting opportunity for me, being part of a new team opening a brand new home.

Sharleen LongI love my job because everyone shares the same vision and dedication. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. I love meeting new people on a daily basis and as well as seeing and speaking to the lovely residents and family members.

Frances WareSince joining Gracewell in January 2018, never having been in a receptionist role before, I truly feel that this is the job I was meant to do. As the first person that visitors see, I always enjoy welcoming them into our friendly and happy home. I love our residents and getting to know them and their families. It's a real privilege to be part of this amazing home and I'm very proud to be able to go the extra mile to make sure our residents have everything they want, even if this means a chat and a coffee in the Bistro.

Visiting arrangements

As our residents are all particularly vulnerable to the COVID-19 infection, we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all visits from relatives and friends, unless in exceptional circumstances. We do not take this decision lightly; reducing visitors into our homes will help protect the health and safety of residents which is our priority. Visits from healthcare professionals and for matters relating to health and safety continue with appropriate precautions.

Our intention is to follow public health advice to determine when visits will return to normal. We will continue to do our best to support residents to keep in touch with loved ones via other methods, such as phone and video calls, letters or emails in the short term.
