Meet Our Team

It is the people who make our home a truly happy and caring one.

At Gracewell of Sutton, we are recruiting an experienced team of dedicated professionals, all of whom will undergo our own in-depth training programme. Just as in every other Gracewell home, the whole team works to make sure that our residents' needs are constantly being identified and that truly personalised care is provided.

Pratheesh Nair, General Manager

Sutton - Pratheesh

I joined Gracewell in March 2018 and lead Gracewell of Sutton as the General Manager. I have managed Nursing homes of different sizes with Gracewell of Sutton (83 bedded) being the largest. While I was the General Manager at my first Nursing home, it was voted in the 10 best Nursing homes in London and I am really proud of this achievement.

I enjoy all aspects of my job, although there are many challenges on a day to day basis, working with a team who provide high standards of person centred care to residents to ensure they have a fulfilled, engaged and happy environment to live always makes me happy.I enjoy the day to day challenges of running a care home, working with many professionals, internally and externally and building those relationships with and for Gracewell of Sutton. I continue to learn and develop and no day is ever the same which makes everything so worthwhile.


Michell Japlitt, Deputy Manager

Sutton - Michelle JaplittIt feels great to be given the opportunity to work for Gracewell Healthcare. I have worked in the same environment with nursing and clinical dependency, and my background and experience provided me skills and knowledge to become effective for the job. As I began my exciting adventure of being the Deputy Manager, I embraced having the responsibility in the provision of excellent quality of care and delivering person- centred care. Since then, I have felt how I, along with Gracewell has grown. Reflecting I realised that this place not only hones me to become a better leader and a colleague but an advocate and friend to residents and their beloved too. I am very keen to meet more families and extend warmth of Gracewell's home to theirs.

I joined Gracewell in July 2016. I have worked within HR for the past 10 years with companies such as Skype, BNYM, Hudson Recruitment & Croydon College. This is a very new and  exciting opportunity for me, being part of a new team opening a brand new home.

I am looking forward to my future with Gracewell Healthcare.

Monica Nedelcheva, Activities & Events Co-ordinator

Sutton - Monica Nedelcheva I have been working for Gracewell since September 2016. I started as a Care assistant and became Activities & Event Co-ordinator. I love my job and when our residents are involved in the daily and monthly activities. I love to see the smiles on their faces, each one of our residents is special to me and I love them all. I try to bring smiles every day to Gracewell of Sutton.

Rob Mclaughlin, Home Admissions Advisor

Purley - RobWith over ten years management experience in Health & Wellbeing I have recently decided to make the switch to Gracewell Healthcare. My role here at Sutton as our home admissions adviser is to ensure the smooth transition for all involved from initial enquiry right the way through to move in. Being able to witness our mission to champion quality of life in all seniors in practice is truly inspiring, I’m sure you will think so too.
