Enjoy a Rewarding Social Life

We can keep you as busy, or relaxed, as you wish at Gracewell of Sway. To ensure our residents and their families are happy and fulfilled, we plan regular social activities and a full annual events programme.

These include arts and crafts, painting, music, singing, gentle exercise, church services, gardening, baking, shopping, and watching films and documentaries...just to name a few of the interesting activities available!

We also hold regular resident meetings, as well as other social gatherings such as our popular Teapot Tuesdays, where we discuss new ideas and take on feedback from residents, which is so important to us.

Mondays: ‘Oomph!’ exercise class
Tuesdays: Teapot Tuesday
Wednesdays: Visits to places of interest
Thursdays: Musical events
Fridays: Games and entertainment
Weekends: Sunday church service

(These are subject to change, so please call to learn about what is happening each day.)

All our events are closed to visitors at this time. For further information please contact the home.

Access to our homes: latest information

We continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis, following public health advice. We've a detailed set of criteria to inform when an individual home can be reopened safely to limited visiting either by families of existing residents or by potential new residents who may want to view one of our homes. The majority of our homes are open for admissions.

As part of our approach to reopening for visitors, we'll be operating in a very different way. To minimise the risk of infection we've produced a safety guide. We'll continue to follow public health advice to determine when visits will return to normal and will continue to do our best to support residents to keep in touch with loved ones.
