Palliative care

What is palliative care?

Palliative care is a holistic approach to end of life that considers you as a person, not just your illness. During what can be a distressing time, palliative care aims to provide the best possible quality of life for you and your loved ones.

Palliative care at Gracewell

At Gracewell, we understand and meet the needs of residents and families with end of life care in a comfortable, dignified and supportive environment.

Our expert team liaise with hospices, GPs and medical staff as required, drawing together a specialist group of professionals to provide the right level of care and symptom management.

‘All of the staff are exceptional and always go that extra mile to make sure that the care that Mum receives is second to none. They all work together as a team to make sure that the care they give is the best it can be.’

We work closely with our residents and their loved ones, to ensure our care is delivered sensitively. Our homes offer a safe and supportive environment, full of community spirit, that puts your care needs first.
