At Gracewell, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents living with dementia or memory loss. Out activities, creative art therapies and life skill-stations help to stimulate the brain, support a healthy lifestyle and promote a sense of well being and purpose.

Come along to our special musical celebration of World Alzheimer’s Day with a concert featuring local performers. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Our residents and team look forward to seeing you there.

You are invited to Gracewell of Adderbury’s creative arts afternoon to celebrate World Alzheimer’s Day. There’ll be music, special guest appearances and a delicious complimentary afternoon tea.

From 11.00am, join our residents, team members and families for a singalong at our choir session. Our chef will be preparing a range of complimentary textured diet samples to tantalise your taste buds.

At 1.00pm, there will be a Dementia Friends Session, where we will be informally discussing ways to make our local community more dementia friendly. A tour of our home and complimentary refreshments will be available throughout the day.

You are invited to an afternoon of storytelling through art. Led by an Arts Therapy Expert, you will join our residents, who are living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and use various artistic methods to express your life history. Gracewell of Chingford uses different art forms to engage residents and help them explore their feelings, reducing stress and anxiety and in turn increasing self-esteem. Come and join us for our workshop and meet our artistic residents.
